Understand the repair.
Invite your pro.
One place to organize a home repair, understand competing estimates and decide whom to contact. Start with a quote you already have—or describe your problem if you have not spoken to a contractor.
01 · Understand your quotes
Planned quote-clarity service. Bring one or several estimates from any contractor, including businesses outside our future network. The software will organize the proposed work into a consistent comparison and flag information that needs clarification.
- Work scope, quantities, equipment model and materials.
- Labor, materials, visit fees, permits, tax, disposal and any unclear charges.
- Estimate versus fixed quote, allowances, exclusions and conditions that could change the total.
- Proposed schedule, warranty, payment milestones and questions to ask.
The planned workflow reads document text, extracts fields and links them back to the source. You check the extracted details before relying on the comparison. Missing information stays marked “not specified”; the system should not invent a price, diagnosis, credential or warranty.
See an illustrative quote-clarity example
Quote A: $2,800, permit and disposal unspecified. Quote B: $3,300, permit and disposal expressly included. Quote C: $3,100, equipment model and labor warranty unspecified. These are invented examples, not price benchmarks. The useful next step is clarification—not automatically choosing A.
02 · Get an optional expert second opinion
Planned service · experts not yet recruited. If the scope is unclear or you are weighing repair against replacement, request a separate paid review from an appropriately qualified professional. Review price, availability and limitations would be shown before you commit.
| Question | Proposed expert |
|---|---|
| Plumbing repair or replacement | Experienced licensed plumber |
| Electrical scope or recommendation | Licensed electrician |
| Roof patch versus replacement | Licensed roofing professional or qualified independent roof consultant |
| Heating and cooling | Licensed HVAC professional |
| Structural or foundation concerns | Licensed structural engineer with relevant experience |
Advice with clear incentives
Our proposed policy pays a fixed consultation fee unrelated to the repair price. The reviewing expert would not bid on the same job. Relevant relationships would be disclosed, and provider subscriptions would not influence conclusions or rankings.
The expert would review your documents and permitted photos, discuss questions in a short call where appropriate, and provide written observations, uncertainties and next steps. Remote advice has limits; testing, concealed damage or safety concerns may require an on-site specialist. AI organizes information; the expert supplies professional judgment.
No expert availability, turnaround time or diagnosis is promised today. Emergency hazards should go directly to emergency services, the utility or an appropriate local professional.
03 · Invite providers on your terms
Planned live marketplace. Review a shareable project brief, select what to disclose and invite independent provider offers. Compare price alongside scope, previous work evidence, credentials, availability and warranty. Make the first contact with the pro you choose.
- Your phone number and exact address stay out of bidding briefs.
- You can keep your budget private or choose to share a target.
- Keep the original quote private; separately approve a redacted amount and scope summary for sharing.
- Ask providers to beat the price for the same work, match it with better terms, or offer the best overall value.
- Providers submit their own offers independently; competing provider bids are not exposed.
- A price-only comparison does not establish equivalent scope or verified savings.
A bid does not authorize a call, visit or work. In the planned live service, each sharing or contact permission would be specific to the provider. You contract with and pay your selected contractor directly; InviteMyPro does not collect construction payments.
No quote yet? Start with the problem.
Describe what you can observe, choose your city and add photos or video. The planned service would help organize questions and identify what remains unknown. Images alone cannot establish a diagnosis or guarantee a final price.
